Low Key Watersports and Love City Businesses Treat Veterans Group to Healing Retreat

Good Morning, Good Morning! How is everyone doing out there in the world? As the slowest time of the year comes to a blissful close, things are starting to pick up, slowly but surely, here in Love City. And next week many local businesses and community members will take advantage of this dwindling slow time to welcome a group of wounded veterans to St. John for a week of healing, exploration, adventure and relaxation.

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. has issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency in response to the Bovoni Landfill fire on St. Thomas. The fire, burning since September 14th, has caused the closing of schools and businesses due to poor air quality.

Latest: Storm Lee Continues To Strengthen, Unlikely To Hit Virgin Islands

Good Morning. We are watching Storm Lee which is expected to pass north of the Virgin Islands this weekend. On Wednesday, September 6th it was changed from being classified as a Tropical Storm to a Category 1 Hurricane. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) warns that it is expected to continue to strengthen and become a very dangerous hurricane. However, at this time it is unlikely to hit the US Virgin Islands, and the National Hurricane Center has the storm tracking to pass several hundred miles north between Sunday and Monday.
