You've seen the certificates on the walls of various businesses on the island.
"Best of the Virgin Islands" awards from the VI Daily News are coveted by owners trying to differentiate their businesses from others'.
The Daily News conducts an annual contest awarding "Best Of" honors in dozens, if not hundreds of categories. Everything from Best Pizza to Best Dry Cleaner and Best Waiter. And each island gets its own winners.
This year, the Daily News has moved the balloting online – so you don't have to be in the VIs to give kudos to a restaurant or a charter boat that made your last vacation memorable.
All you have to do is go to the News' Facebook page, register and vote. Here's the link.
Ahhh, but you DO have to have a substantial advertising budget with the Daily News to “qualify.”
