Police station planned for Coral Bay

The St. John Administrator reported final bids from contractors are due next week, March 10, for construction of a police department substation on the east end of the island. Julien Harley told the Coral Bay Community Council the building will be located next to the fire station where St. John Rescue is currently parking an emergency vehicle. He said two contractors for SD. Thomas have made initial bids, and once the deal is finalized, the winner will have six months to do the job, according to the St. John Source.
