The grand winner of this year's Beach Bar Minimal Regatta was Rob Fortune of St. Thomas' Blue Fin Home Builders.
Coming up with the best looking and fastest boat is no easy task of course, given that the rules limit you to one sheet of plywood and a couple of two-by-fours eight feet long.
But Fortune and his Blue Fin buddies have had lots of experience building, if not boats then condos, since the company's helped build the Grande Bay resort on the waterfront.
Bob Schlesinger of Tropical Focus Photography passed along these photos to us. He pointed out that the "Abigail" is not only a great looking craft; it also has a cup holder for a Greenie or a Virgin Islands Pale Ale.
