After months of delays – all totally out of their control .. gotta love the USVI – The Longboard finally opened for business Friday afternoon, and from what we’ve seen and heard, it’s a hit!
The boys over at Longboard served up their first drink at 4 p.m. Friday and by 6 p.m., the place was jamming! Billed as “coastal cantina”, The Longboard is a great addition to Cruz Bay and to St. John as a whole. Not only do they have fresh, healthy and affordable food options, but they also have several signature drinks on tap including a frozen Painkiller, which we’ve heard is incredible!
Here are a few pics of the place:

For those of you who’ve missed the entire menu we shared last month, here it is again:
The Longboard is open seven days a week from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. It’s located right in the heart of Cruz Bay below Cafe Roma and across from Castaways and Wasted Sun.

Who gets a chance at a second grand opening?! Permitting ‘issue’ resolved, and we’ll be swinging the doors at 3 PM, serving up cold drinks and fresh eats, just in time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Happy Hour. We’ll save you a seat – hope to see you there!
Good to hear, Jason! Looking forward to some delicious food and drinks. This time next week I’ll be on island, so see you soon! 🙂
Looks like the old Cafe Roma. Many good memories there for close to 30 years. See you soon and GOOD LUCK!! 🙂 🙂
