Plans are afoot to clean up and spruce up the playground and recreational area adjacent to the National Park Service's Visitors center in Cruz Bay.
The project is being undertaken by the St. John Community Foundation (http://www.sjcf.org/) along with the NPS. The public/private partnership is providing money, volunteers, and construction equipment to build a new drainage system for the field, replace fencing around the perimeter, plant new grass and construct new dugouts. Some playground equipment is also expected to be replaced.
This is fantastic news Frank! I am in contact with Paul Devine at the SJCF and hope to work/partner with them in some capacity to make this dream come true for many St. John children and the St. John community.

Great news. Now if they could improve the field in Coral Bay by making it level!
