From now to Dec. 19, Petfinder.com is counting votes to select animal shelters and rescue groups to receive thousands of dollars top help homeless kitties and puppies. Rules allow you to vote each day.
The Animal Care Center on the island is urging you to vote often, of course. Just click this link, then select "VI" at the drop down menu for State and then choose St. John's ACC. As of Wednesday morning, the ACC was in sixth place among international shelters. Results updated daily.
There will $1,000 prizes each week and a grand prize of $10,000 to be awarded.
I have two computers and make it my business to vote for the St. John ACC every morning.

I have been doing this since our visit to St. John last year–it is a legitimate site that gives away lots of food and money to shelters!
Would love to, but when I put in the data, it says not found and won’t let me vote. Even when the shelter name pops up automatically.
