It was just another excuse for a three-day weekend.
Observance of the 'holiday' began Friday afternoon at Mongoose Junction and continues with parties Saturday at Wharfside and good times at Morgan's Mango in Cruz Bay and Skinny Legs in Coral Bay Sunday.
Wooowee!
The function at the Junction was for kids and begins at 3 p.m. All shops and offices open their doors and have baskets of candy as all school kids are welcomed to Trick or Treat until 5 p.m.
After the kids are done, time for the Tap Room's soiree featuring live music from The Ish, starting at 9pm. Costume contests, Green Flash jello shots and great brews. http://www.facebook.com/StJohnBrewers
Saturday night, the Parrot Club at Wharfside promised a 'sexy' event with music, drink specials, and cash prizes for costumes that are fun and provocative. Sunday, Morgan's Mango hosted the kids for a Halloween Party that's actually on Halloween.
And then folks headed out to Coral Bay and Skinny Legs for a party that promises to reduce the island's productivity Monday. The Ish will will rock the night beginning at 8 p.m. There will be prizes for the annual "Freak Your Funk" costume competition. http://skinnylegs.com/Halloween-10.htm
