Cafe Roma is apparently getting a new owner.
The restaurant above Joe’s Diner in Cruz Bay has been in business since 1981. It was bought by the current owner, Joshlynn Crosley, in 1988. Since then, the Italian spot has been been a favorite for pizza and its trattoria-style menu.
She’s had it for sale, informally, for several years; even paired up with the Mixology Warehouse owner two years ago to ‘sell’ the place to whomever wrote the best essay about wanting to own a business on island. That contest didn’t pan out – the number of entries was too low.
Late last year, Crosby offered Cafe Roma for sale with Re/Max island Paradise Realty. Asking price: $175,000. The listing now has a “Contract Pending” notation.
