As many as 100 happy couples may participate in this week’s Celebration of Love at Trunk Bay. Last year, 72 couples repeated their vows in the beach ceremony organized by non-denominational minister Anne Marie Porter.
This is the 11th annual Celebration.
This year’s free event is scheduled for 5 p.m. It will feature steel pan music by Albion Sewer and flute music by Michael Banzhaf.
Porter told the St. John Source each woman will also receive a rose and each couple gets certificate to hang on a wall.
