St. John Arts Festival: 9 days of fun

Festival
The St. John Arts Festival is featuring nine days of entertainment and cultural activities.  The festival was founded, and is organized each year, by Frank Langley and more than a dozen volunteers. He said the festival is an expression and celebration of St. John and the special heritage of its culture.

One highlight is “Broadway Comes to St. John” at the Westin Resort, a production of the St. John School of the Arts.   Another is a Saturday morning hike to Estate Beverhoudtsberg, one of the largest and richest island estates on the early 1800's. The St. John Historical Society is the organizer.

Cruz Bay will be a hub of activity especially on Saturday, when vendors will offer arts, crafts, and food for sale while the Love City Pan Dragons and other performers are on the bandstand stage.   Inner Visions is scheduled to play at lunchtime next Monday.
