Is the “Thou Shalt Stop” sign in Cruz Bay still there?
If you can believe it, almost 2 years ago, the St. John Police Department told us that if we posted those signs at Boulon Center, they would arrest people for loitering. No one has ever been arrested or told to move by the police. So much for “Police take notice!”
Maybe the sign was meant for the police! The sign structure might suggest that – “Police” is on top of “Take Notice” perhaps suggesting a coma – ie “Police, take notice”
