Avelino Samuel has been creating fine art from wood for almost 30 years. This week, his art, as well as offerings from other wood workers on the island, are on display at the Marketplace.
The Sun Times Magazine has posted a page of photos of what's being shown. Items include lamps, bowls, cups, boats, mirrors, pen and pencils and cases, and more.
The ST's favorite item is by Avelino Samuel, who's also an industrial arts teacher. It's a spearfish gun, priced at $400.
A gallery of photos from the Wood Worker's Expo is here.
I love Avelino’s work. It’s beautiful. I have bought 2 pieces. One I bought as a gift but ending up keeping I liked it so much.
Some of these pieces are beautiful. Does anyone know where these artists usually display/sell their work?
