Planning is well underway for St. John Rotary’s annual Flavors gala at the Westin Resort. The event is Nov. 24, with dining and dancing beginning at 6 p.m.
Celebrity judges will help select the best appetizer, entree, dessert, and drinks. Eighteen of the island’s finest restaurants have signed up to offer their efforts for the evening and an impressive selection of wines will be provided by distributors.
The Inquiring Iguana endorses Flavors for a number of reasons. First, the island Rotary group is great. If you are a visitor on vacation, you’ll have a good time at the event. You will taste the best the iksalnd has ton offer and you will get a chance to rub elbows or dancing feet with year-round residents who are the heart and soul of the little island.
Proceeds from the gala go to the club’s scholarship fund and activities.
