We’ve received a ton of emails over the past six months or so asking us details about whether or not the Love City Country Music Fest is returning to St. John, and today we can tell you for sure that it is … who’s excited??!!
The event is happening on May 12th, 13th and 14th, both here on St. John and over at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. The party kicks off on Thursday with a beach party over at the Soggy Dollar Bar. There will be live acoustic performances from festival artists as well as a plethora of fun, sun and of course a few Painkillers. So go ahead and book your boat now. This is a free event, and of course, you’ll need to have a passport to get over there.
On Friday, May 13th, the party heads over to the beach in front of Joe’s Rum Hut where several artists will play including Kent Blazy, Marty Dodson, Dave Berg, Bridgette Tatum, Sunny Sweeney and Angaleena Presley. This event starts at 6 p.m. and there will be an afterparty along with our friends over at the Parrot Club from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Now this is going to be a good time…
On Saturday, May 14th the Love City Country Music Fest will feature Pat Green with special guests Radney Foster and Sunny Sweeney. The cost for this event is only $35, and we’re sure it’s going to be a good one. For those of you over in St. Thomas, no need to worry – there will be late night ferry service back to Red Hook for all of you.
