Maybe, it’s not too late to register for this month’s 8 Tuff Miles road race on St. John.
The Facebook page for the contest says, “Despite what you may have heard or not heard there are still some bib numbers available for 8 Tuff Miles, but you would have to be on St.Thomas or St. John for us to put one in your hand.” The race’s Web site also says, “Registration is still available both locally and non locally.”
You can find the bibs at St. Thomas’ Caribbean Surf Co. stores at Red Hook and Havensight and at Mongoose Junction at St. John’s Tap Room. If you’re already registered, you can pick up your bibs at the Tap Room, too
So, if you’ll be on island Saturday, the 23rd, you have a shot at registering for the 17th annual running of the race.
