The fastest man on St. John – again – is Jeremy Zuber.  In last weekend’s 8 Tuff Miles road race from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay, the St. JohIt's a 5-peat in Virgin Islands road race 1nian crossed the finish line with a time of 49 minutes and 23 seconds.  Zuber, who works at Caneel Bay resort, has won the 8.375 mile race five times in a row.  "It was tough," he commented to the St. John Source.

A fitness trainer from St. Thomas was the first woman to complete the race.  Ruthie Ann David’s time was 59 minutes and 5 seconds.

The weather for the race was relatively cool and definitely rainy.  That made Centerline Road, the course, slippery in spots.

This year’s race boasted 726 finishers, a new record.  Many runners from off island participated in the race, too.  The oldest man who finished the race was 71, the oldest woman was 69.
The youngest boy finisher was five, and the youngest girl was six.
