Guy Benjamin died at his home in Coral Bay, according to the St. John Source.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Benjamin many times over the years and he was an amazing and exceptional individual and I am honored to have met him. He will sorely be missed. Rest in Peace.
What an inspiring man. May Mr. Guy Benjamin rest in peace, and may the many blessings of his legacy continue to inspire others for years to come.
So enjoyed meeting him and having conversations at his stand in front of his home years ago. I treasure the book and his handwritten note inside. A true gentleman and a part of St. John’s color, culture and history. His stories recounting his life as a child in Coral Bay were enchanting. His Spirit will live on!
Guy had a generous and friendly soul. I felt lucky to have know him. In 1980 he opened his home to myself and a friend when we didn’t have a place to stay in St. John. He will always have a special place in my heart. God Bless Him.
