By now you probably all know that it’s Festival time on St. John. There’s a lot of great stuff happening, including a lot of shopping.
Our friend Sloop Jones asked us to let all of you know that he is selling a very cute Festival t-shirt in the park all weekend. So for those of you looking to commemorate this weekend’s events, here’s a great way for you to do so.
In addition to his Festival shirt, Sloop is selling a ton of other hand painted items starting at $35. Sloop is located in a booth at the park across from the ferry dock and next to Cruz Bay Landing. There are a ton of great vendors over there who are selling everything from fresh fruits to hand carved items to local foods. Please swing by and check them out if you can.
In the meantime, here’s what’s happening for the rest of the weekend:
- Festival Village and the Children’s Village are open everyday.
- July 3rd: Emancipation Day Program at 1 p.m.; Poker Run at 12 p.m.; and Horse Races (on St. Thomas) at 1 p.m.
- July 4th: J’ouvert at sunrise; Parade at 11 a.m.; Fireworks at 9 p.m.
