This is the weekend the St. John Festival moves into second gear. A few weeks ago, Pan-o-Rama kicked off the activities and now youngsters and oldsters move into the spotlight.
The Senior Variety Show is tonight at the Sprauve school ballfield. A member of the Senior Variety Show committee told the St. John Source you can expect to see mature St. Johnians "modeling, dancing, dinging, maypole plaiting and more."
Then, bright and early Saturday morning, bicycle racers will speed away from the National Park Service headquarters bound for Hawksnest.
Sunday evening, it's time for three young girls to compete for the title of St. John Princess.
