'Soon come' was the gist of a statement from a spokeswoman for the V.I. Port Authority.
Minifa Marrero, in response to an inquiry by Lynda Lohr of the St. John Source, said the Cruz Bay dock damaged by Hurricane Earl should be repaired by the end of this month. She told the Source, a contract for repair 'went out for bid' last month.
The storm pushed harbor waters over the dock and tore out a number of boards. Nonetheless, it is still being used, as you can see anytime via the St. John Spicecam. (Click the cam here.)
Speaking of which, over the past weekend, the SpiceCam welcomed its 4,000,000th visitor.
