Two more airlines servicing St. Thomas have announced cutbacks.
Besides American Airlines, which announced its moves last week, now United and Continental will lay of employees, mothball old airplanes, and reduce flight schedules.
Bloomberg News reports:
- Continental Will Ground 67 Jets, Eliminate 3,000 Jobs
- United to Cut Fleet, Shut Low-Fare Unit, Person Says
We will be in St. J in Oct. for a week to do legal/contruction prep for home building on our Pastory lot. During this visit, we hope to find a long-term (one year) “really cheap” rental nearby for Spring 2009 to live in while we build. We don’t require much! When this rental is firm, we will then deal with the airline ticks problem.
Thanks in advance for you help.
