Throwback: St. John Receives a Special Visit

Can you believe that Christmas is two weeks from today? It sure doesn’t feel like the holiday season when it’s 85 degrees and sunny! (Go ahead and hate on us … we don’t blame you 🙂 ) In the spirit of the holiday season, we’d like to share with you a post that we originally printed last year…

Anyone hear about the Elf on the Shelf? If you have little one, chances are you’re scouring for ideas every night as to how your going to deal with this little elf. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure about dealing with the Elf on the Shelf, it’s the latest gimmick for kids. This elf allegedly keeps an eye on the kiddos each day and flies back to the North Pole at night to report back to Santa. Each morning the elf is in a different spot somewhere around the house.

For those of you with little ones who adore St. John – and I know there are a ton of you out there – please let the kiddos know that the elf paid us a visit too. For those of you without little ones, we think you’ll still enjoy seeing pics of his adventures…

Like most first-time visitors, he immediately went to see the National Park…

Then on to take the quintessential St. John shot…

He then cruised over to Peace Hill where he did a nice little hike and hung out a bit…

The sun was about to set, so he cruised over to Gallows Point and took in the sunset and a few libations at Ocean 362…

Day 2 started out with some sightseeing and then a nice “little” hike…

The trail tuckered him out, so he hopped in the pool over at Sweet Surrender at Virgin Grand Estates…

And from there, it was on to Coral Bay where he met some of the locals and joined a pretty important cause…

No donkeys were harmed during the elf’s adventures 🙂

He stopped home to play a quick board game before heading out for a night on the town!

He started off with a Bushwacker at The Beach Bar…
