It was a slow summer for real estate sales on St. John, according to information offered by one of the island’s major real estate sales people.
She characterized results for July, August and September as “not poor." Deals were made for four houses, two land parcels, and three condominium units.
“There are a few really good bargains now from highly motivated sellers but most prices on St. John are holding steady until sales pick up," she said. "Inventory is high so it is a good time for buyers to be shopping."
Currently, there are 111 homes for sale on the Multiple Listing Service, a decrease of nine from a month ago.
