A 14-year tradition resumes this weekend with the running and swimming of the 13th Love City Triathalon and Aquathon. The event was not held last year.
Event organizer Jude Woodcock said 100 competitors may be registered, either as individuals or participating in teams. The Love City Landsharks is the event's host agency.
The courses include a half-mile swim, fourteen-mile bicycle ride (Maho Bay to Cruz Bay), and a three-mile run (including the Annaberg Plantation parking lot stairs).
The race will be managed from Maho Bay.
The Triathalon/Aquathon begins Sunday morning at 7. Participants are being offered a free night’s stay at Maho Bay Camps on Saturday.
