Well folks, there are a lot of fun events happening this month. Here’s a quick rundown of some of our favorites…
Tonight, December 8th: The Animal Care Center will hold its annual holiday party open house from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It’s a potluck event, and everyone is welcomed to attend. It’s the shelter’s way of saying thank you to the community while also giving everyone the opportunity to meet some of the cats and dogs currently up for adoption.
Saturday, December 10th: The Coral Bay Bizarre Bazaar is happening out next to Pickles in Coral Bay beginning at 11 a.m. As always, there will be lots of shopping, a great raffle, activities and even a visit from Santa himself!
Saturday, December 17th: The All Island Holiday Party, also known as the Prom, was pushed back a week this year, but we’re pretty certain it’ll be worth the wait. It’s a great night to dress up a bit – swap those flip flops out for some fancy island wear, and take one of those fantastically awkward prom photos. I know I will! Everyone is welcomed to attend. The party starts at 9 p.m. over at Mongoose Junction. Hmmm, I wonder if I’ll get one of those tacky wrist corsages we all loved so much in high school… Gosh I hope so!
