Gallows Point Resort had modifiedits plans for installing a Jacuzzi pool and now has the official OK to follow through. Approval came at a meeting of the St. John Coastal Zone Management committee after a review of an existing permit.
The CZM panel also authorized the start of improvements at the V.I. Environmental resource Station (VIERS http://www.islands.org/virgin/viers/)operated by the University of the Virgin Islands, the St. John Source reported. The project will including updates to the lab at Lameshur Bay and construction of a conference center. Work on the project, is expected to begin June 1 and take about 2 1/2 months.
Guess Gallows is justifying the $150 per night increase in rates over the last 18 months. So this is why they moved the Gazebo!
