This is National Park Service Week, the annual event when admission to all 397 national parks is free.
"This is a chance for all Americans to get actiove while experiencing the amazing places that make up the national paek system," the NPS explained in a news release.
For St. John, this means acess to Trunk Bay, usually costing $4, is free.
National Park Service week – which, oddly, lasts nine days – began last Sunday and runs through this Sunday, the 29th.
