The Animal Care Center – one of our favorite organizations on the island – is holding its first ever Dog Days of Summer cookout next weekend at the ACC.
On Saturday, August 27th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., everyone on island is invited to stop by the ACC and hang out with some of the adorable cats and dogs there (perhaps you can adopt one), grab some food and drinks, and help give back to the animals who are living at the shelter. Donations will be accepted, but simply stop by and say hello if you’d like.
The ACC is located just past the roundabout on the way to the Westin. Take a right just after the preschool. There’s a sign for the cookout on the tree next to the driveway, so you really can’t miss it.
The ACC is also starting to collect items for its annual No Fleas Please flea market, which will happen on October 13, 14 and 15. Here are all the details for those of you looking to donate:
