Well folks, we know how much you love the dogs and cats of St. John, so please join us and help raise some money for them!
The Animal Care Center, St. John’s nonprofit no-kill shelter, is currently holding its annual auction to raise money to care for the animals’ daily and medical needs. There are currently 10 items up for grabs, which include villa stays, boat trips and more. Bidding is open now and ends on Saturday, February 9th at noon EST.
The following items are up for bid:
- A one-hour photo shoot with Yelena Rogers
- A 2-night stay at Hotel Cruz Bay
- A full day trip on Ocean Runner
- A 5-hour trip on Sunshine Daydream
- A full day trip on Residensea
- A 4-night stay at Calichi Villas
- A 2-tank dive with Busy Bee Charters
- 10 daily snorkel rentals from Just Beach
- A 3-night stay at Island Abodes
- A 5-night stay at Sirenusa

The Animal Care Center is also holding its annual gala this Saturday at Sirenusa. This year’s theme is the Great Catsby, a play on The Great Gatsby. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and costs $100. They will be available until noon Friday at the ACC, STJ Hardware, Connections and Chelsea Drug Store. If there are tickets left over prior to the event, they will be available at the door for $125.
Shuttle service available from the upper parking lot of Marketplace, as parking at Sirenusa is limited. The safaris will leave the Marketplace at 5:30, 6, 6:30, and 7 p.m. They will return from Sirenusa at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:15 p.m. The shuttle service is free.
