The Animal Care Center’s annual open house is happening this week and the entire island is invited. The party happens this Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the ACC, which is located next to the library.
Directions: Go past the roundabout toward the Westin. Once you pass the Tamarind, you will see a driveway on your right just after the preschool. The party will be happening right there in the parking lot. Your best bet is to park at either the gravel lot or the BMV lot and walk up as there is limited parking at the ACC.
There will be food and beverages available to guests. Feel free to bring something to share as this is sort of a pot luck event. YOu are also encouraged to bring treats or other donations for the cats and dogs to enjoy.
The ACC does a phenomenal job taking care of our island’s animals, and from what we here, they are currently maxed out. So if you are looking to adopt this holiday season and can provide a stable and loving home for either a cat or dog, please consider adopting from the ACC. And for our stateside friends, if you are interested in adopting a cat or dog, the ACC can help with transportation for the adopted animal.
Thanks everyone and we hope to see you Wednesday!
You can help the St. John ACC by going to The Animal Rescue Site.com each day to vote for them in the ongoing contests. The monetary rewards can be big for the ACC to assist with the care of the animals. It only takes a few minutes of your time and the ACC is already registered on the site, a great way to support them!
