Hi all, it looks as though the center of Tropical Storm Dorian will pass very close to St. John. According to the 11 a.m. update from the National Hurricane Center, the storm’s maximum sustained winds increased and are now at 70 miles per hour. St. John is now under a hurricane warning.
We put together a short video, which was taken in the last hour. The videos were sent to us by Palm Tree Charters, who are now home safely after checking on their boat in Cruz Bay, and also by The Beach Bar owners.
The winds and rain are both expected to intensify throughout the day.
