Well folks, one of my absolute favorite events in happening here on island next week … the St. Patrick’s Day parade! And this year happens to be the 20th annual, so you know it’s going to be good!
The parade starts around noon on Saturday, March 18th, and for those of you who’d like to get in on the action, be at the BMV parking lot (right next to the tennis courts) around 11 a.m. to decorate your vehicle.
Legend has it (and yes, we’re being purposefully dramatic here) that this is the shortest St. Patrick’s Day in the world. It starts right at the BMV parking lot, then curves left and continues past Quiet Mon before ending around the Dog House Pub area. It doesn’t last long, so make sure you’re there on time. And whether you’re Irish or not, make sure to wear something green. 🙂
