Hello everyone and happy Monday! I am so excited to tell you all that the island is, once again, green, lush and in full bloom! We had ample rain two weeks ago, and some good showers every then and again since, and the island is reaping the benefits!
Charlie, my Animal Care Center rescue, and I took a quick ride out to the Trunk Bay overlook this morning to take pictures for all of you. Now you can see for yourselves how great St. John looks! Enjoy!
Amazing, right?? Come visit, and see for yourself!
Two and a half weeks
Take me with you – I don’t take up much room 😉
See ya soon dad!
37 days! I just bought a new pair of drinking shoes and a portable liver…..
Thanks for the pictures, Jenn. Glad to see my favorite Island recovering from the drought. It was looking pretty scruffy. I felt bad because here in the South Bend – Mishawaka area, we were drowning! It rained almost every day in May. Quite unusual.
Loved the picture of Jumbie. We used to snorkel there.
Thank you for sharing! We’ll be there on Saturday and the topic of rain on the island has been top of mind. I’ve been hoping you’ve gotten the rain so that the island could have a nice drink of water (and the cisterns). We were there in March and it was sad to see how dry it was.
18 days and we will be there!
Jen, thank you for posting these beautiful pics today! Can’t wait to get back, 5 days and counting!
