Pickles Reopens in Coral Bay!!

pickles is open

Hello everyone and happy Friday! We have such great news to share with you all today … Pickles in Coral Bay has finally reopened! How fantastic is that??!!

As you may know, the Pickles building received some damage during the hurricanes. It’s since been spruced up and the place looks great! Pickles is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and as an added bonus, it even has free wifi!

I picked up the Patrick panini while on my inaugural News of St. John Land/Sea Tour with Flyaway Charters yesterday, and it was amazing! And the land and sea tour was amazing too! I spent three hours with my guests on the North Shore and out to the East End and Salt Pond areas, before they hopped on Flyaway Charters and cruised down the South Shore and back to Cruz Bay. It was an amazing day, and please consider it for you next trip! Contact me at jenn@newsofstjohn.com for more details.

While waiting for our scrumptious lunches at Pickles, my tour guest pointed out a great sign out back. It really shows the spirit of Coral Bay. Please check it out:

thank you from pickles

With every business that reopens, the more hope we all have. Now go ahead, and book your next trip to see us. :)

Have a great Friday everyone!!

BBC Electric from Joplin Missouri has been on island (and St Thomas, and St Croix) since October. They have worked 7 days a week, from sun up to sun down, away from their families for months. Working over Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are a fantastic group who have re-wired the entire island in less than half the time of the orginial estimate. I join Pickles in affirming ” We Love BBC”.

I add my thanks and respect for BBC as well…professional, yet pleasant, smiles returned, and job well done. Coral Bay especially holds them close to heart because they paid us equal attention.
Our governor should get down on his knees and thank these guys…he should give them the keys to the VI, he could fete them instead of his cronies, he send them back home to their families with a complimentary satin sheet for actually showing us how things ‘get done’.
        Thank you BBC.

I’ sorry but I don’t think you know what it meant. Surely…you wouldn’t have commented in that way if you did !

I am so glad Pickles is open again. We will be within walking distance all through March. Visit Coral Bay every year and sometimes play at open mic night.

Does the name Pickles come from Pickleball? Maybe they need a Pickleball court. I would be happy to install one.
Also, we love BBC here in Atlanta!
