Week-long villa rentals, custom wedding photography services and custom made jewelry are some of theitems already lined up for sale for the fourth annual online auction to benefit the Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park.
The bidding begins at biddingforgood.com/friendsofvinp at 9 a.m. next Friday and continues until 8 p.m. Dec. 9, eastern standard time.
One is seven nights at the luxury villa Isla Vista. The two-bedroom property on the island's north shore rents for nearly $9,000 a week during the winter.
Other items up for bid include gourmet catering,day trips, and jewlery. So far, there are about 40 items listed
Last year, the Friends auction raised $28,350 for its programs supporting the Park. They include maintenance of the Park's six miles of trails and the archeology program at Cinnamon Bay and elsewhere. This year's fund raising goal is $30,000.
