The Restaurants: Who’s Open & Who’s Closed

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Lots of progress is happening here on island! Today we’d like to provide you with another restaurant update.

New restaurants are continuing to reopen every week. We mentioned how La Tapa reopened two weeks ago, which made us so happy! I had a birthday dinner there the other evening, and it was amazing as usual. The Tap Room opened last week and is serving pretty much its full menu … again, amazing! Cafe Roma opened last night and is even open for lunch in this new post-hurricane world. So much great news!

Here are the restaurants that are currently open:

    We have our fingers crossed that the rest will open
    As soon as possible . Several of our favorites are still on the Closed list ❤️

  3. Hi – These updates are great! Keep up the good work. I would be interested in knowing which hotels/accomodations are open and accepting reservations. Maybe you have done this somewhere and I have missed it.

  5. Jenn, any idea if Joe’s Rum hut, Beach Bar, and Hightide will be open for business by December 26th? Love the views from these places.

  6. Is the Tap Room in their new location? Which was their old location before the fire? Or are they still in the temporary digs up the spiral staircase?

  9. Please let people know that most restaurants (& stores) are running short hours. Example: Uncle Joe’s BBQ is open till they run out of food (usually about 3pm) Cruz Bay Landing is closing to the public most days at 5 – as they serve the electric linemen exclusively after that time. North Shore Deli closed at 3pm today. You’ll have no problem finding a good dinner – things just operate on short hours because there aren’t enough tourists here yet to justify them staying open. We’ve had excellent food at dinnertime at Tap Room, Lime Inn, & Cafe Roma.
