Well folks, we have great news to share with you today … Ferry service is set to resume to the British Virgin Islands!
Inter Island Boat Service has announced that it will begin service between Cruz Bay and Jost Van Dyke next Friday, March 15th. The ferry will leave St. John near the bulkhead by the National Park Visitor Center at 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. It will leave Jost Van Dyke at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. This ferry will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only at this time.
The cost of the ferry os $100 roundtrip for adults and $75 roundtrip for children. One way tickets cost $80 for adults and $55 for children. The costs do not include the BVI Entry fee of $10 and BVI Departure tax of $20 per person. The price for children is for ages 2-11. Children under the age of two are $20 plus taxes.

Also probably important to note that a valid passport is required for entry into the BVI’s.
Is it correct that the ferry avoids the $70 fee normally charged to charter groups who visit the BVI? So, in essence, the trip is $130?
That’s $260.00 per couple to drink at the Soggy Dollar ——-I’m just saying.

That is VERY steep to get there via ferry, would definitely book a charter to JVD instead and pay the extra money for that experience. But to each his own I suppose! Glad it is at least an option now.

Yes … but most charters have an open bar… not a bad thing
