Caneel Bay resort is going greener. The luxurious oasis says adding new electric golf carts for ferrying guests around the property is part of a "commitment to reduce our carbon footprint."
Pictured here, from Caneel Bay's Facebook page, is Nikolay Hotze, the resort's managing director. He said, "Now you can enjoy a ride and be eco-friendly at the same time."
Besides the new carts, some planned maintenance projects were completed during the summer when the resort was closed.
What a joke. And where do you think the electricity comes from? It comes from an ancient, inefficient, C02, smoke belching diesel fired generator at Sub Base on St. Thomas.
