It’s that time of year folks … time for one of our favorite bar events here on island – Iron Bartender.
Each year, our top bartenders here on island compete against some of the best from neighboring St. Thomas to see who can make the most creative, delicious cocktails, all while putting on a good show. The competition happens on June 5th at 1 p.m. at Drink, and it’s a full day party for all competitors, judges and the audience.
This year’s event will feature a DJ and MC, and VIP tickets are available as well. For just $40, you can get a taste of each competitor’s drink, additional sample cocktails, reserved front row seating, table service, and (perhaps most importantly) a bathroom line pass!
Brandon Lutzy of Simply Italian on St. Thomas won the trophy last year. We’re hoping that it returns to St. John this year. 🙂
The first place winner will receive a prize of $500 cash, a trip for two to Mexico, the Stanely cup of Patron and of coarse the green jacket with bragging rights.
