The five-time winner of St. John’s 8 Tuff Miles turned in a heroic performance Monday in the Boston Marathon.

Jeremy Zuber ran the 26 mile race in 2:41:10, finishing 181st in a field of almost 25,000 men and women competitors.  Among men, he came in 172nd running at a pace of 6-minutes 9-seconds per mile.  Zube was just about 33 minutes behind the winner of the race, Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya.

According to the Marathon’s web site, Zuber was the only St. Johnian in the race.  In previous years. Mo Chabuz, owner of Skinny Legs, has run and finished the contest.  Not this year, apparently.
