Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday I was chatting with a friend about owning a business on St. John. I know many of you have that dream too, so today we’re going to give you a quick rundown of what is currently on the market…
Cafe Roma – $315,000
Cafe Roma has been dishing up some of the best Italian food and pizzas here in Cruz Bay since 1981. And apparently I’m not the only one who considers this a favorite because it’s been voted the Best Italian Restaurant on St. John for the past 10 years by the Virgin Islands Daily News.
Cafe Roma has a great location – just one block from the ferry dock in the heart of Cruz Bay. It’s a turnkey business with well seasoned staff in place. The reason it’s up for sale? Well owner John Hiebert said he is looking forward to pursuing other opportunities over on St. Thomas, the island he calls home.
Nest & Co. – $225,000
Nest & Company, located at Mongoose Junction, is a high-traffic location with many boutique and fine dining establishments. Within the Nest lies luxury, beauty & peace. Nest & Co.’s boutique focuses on finding delicate, exquisite items made from top-quality materials. For the body, the mind, the home & the soul, you’ll find the perfect gift for a loved one or for yourself such as jewelry, candles, stationery, bedding, books, clothing, home decor, lotions, soaps & more.
Rock Fitness – $218,000
Rock Fitness, which includes a gym, clothing store and bar, is for sale. It’s a turnkey business right in Cruz Bay. The business includes full cardio, cable machine, smith machine, free weights, dumbbells and more. There’s fantastic growth potential and financials are available with a non-disclosure agreement.
Pickles – $199,500
Pickles is open five days a week and is known for its great food and fun atmosphere. It has a large indoor seating area, indoor and outdoor bar, as well as a large backyard area with several seating options.
Sail Safaris – $179,000
Sail Safaris is a sailing charter business that includes 40′ Beneteau sailing yacht (Dell Rose), a 27 ft. Stiletto Catamaran (Fly Girl) and two secured moorings.
Skipper’s Brit Pub at Sweet Plantains – $99,000
Skipper’s Brit Pub was formerly known as Sweet Plantains. Here’s what the owners had to say about the change:
Our family moved to St John over a year ago. A restaurant in the Caribbean was our dream, not a restaurant serving All Caribbean food. Of late we have added some great British food items to our menu which have become very popular. The name Skippers we have had registered since we started looking for restaurants and pubs in the Caribbean. As our regulars are aware we have had Skippers pub on our menu for quite a while, the plan was always to change the name.
Now & Zen, Coral Bay – $60,000
The boutique is located next to Shipwreck Landing in Coral Bay and has great water views. According to its listing, the boutique has an eclectic selection of art, jewelry and clothing, and many items are from Asia and Indonesia.
