Vote for St. John

Usvi_isl8706St. John is one of 10 islands in the running to be on the December cover of Islands magazine.  It will happen if enough people cast their votes in the "30 Years of Covers" ballot at the publication's Web site.

This morning, the cover featuring Trunk Bay published in 1987 … is running fourth.  Leading the voting are Puerto Rico, followed by Whitsunday and Aruba.

The poll is open until Sept. 23.  You can cast a choice once, and you'll have to register on the Islands Web site.  It takes about a minute.

"Virgin Islanders should encourage friends and family across the globe to get online and vote for us," said Beverly Nicholson-Doty, the Tourism Commissioner.  "Being featured on the cover of Islands' 30th anniversary issue would have positive and lasting effects."
