The safari buses were rolling, the tourists were window shopping, and downtown Cruz Bay looked active Monday due in no small part to the arrival of two cruise ships in Cruz Bay harbor.
The 180-person Sea Dream and the 710-passenger Azamara Journey anchored just outside the mouth of the harbor. Both ships ferried passengers to St. John via the old barge dock.
Update: a third ship arrived this morning … the Club Med 2, with about 400 aboard, steamed in at about 8 a.m. Tuesday. Promising more busy-ness downtown and at Trunk Bay today. I think we'll go back to Oppenheimer Beach.
