Don Sussman, a St. John-based financier and philanthropist, married Rep. Chellie Pingree of Maine, the Portland Press Herald reported.
The ceremony was performed Saturday by a minister at the couple's home in North Haven.
Pingree's relationship with Sussman was an issue in her 2010 reelection campaign.
They announced their marriage Saturday night at his 65th birthday party in Maine.
