Hey everyone, happy Sunday! I am super sorry that I’m late to the party on this one but something ridiculously fun is happening today on St. John … and I don’t want any of you to miss it.
DR!NK, Cruz Bay’s newest bar, is holding a scavenger hunt today at noon, and the top prize is a trip for two to one of 30 destinations. There will be other prizes and goodie bags distributed as well.
So what do you have to do? Show up at DR!NK between 11 a.m. and noon to register and pick up your packet. It only costs $20 and a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the St. John Brewers Relief Fund. There is no minimum or maximum number of participants allowed; however you must have a smartphone and a Facebook account in order to play.
How does it work? Teams will be given a list of landmarks, restaurants, bars, parks and miscellaneous locations where they earn points. Once they reach these locations they must post and share a photo on Facebook with assigned hashtags.
There will be a secret snitch that will move around St. John throughout the day where participants can get massive points to take the lead. DR!NK will post the location throughout the day, so you should check DR!NK’s Facebook page for hints.
The scavenger hunt will happen between noon and 5 p.m. There will also be an after party at DR!NK where there will be a photo booth that teams can get in and all photos throughout day will be posted on the big screen. All day the big screen will be live with Facebook to track contestants so people at home can watch as well.
