Reggae-fest set for late January

LOVECITYLIVE_LOGO
Four days of sun, fun, ans music are on the schedule for the third annual Love City Live next January. Organizers describe LCL as “An extended weekend of events…beach parties, power-boat parties, sun, rum and a reggae concert.”

Among the artists performing at the big concert Jan 26 at the Sprauve school ballfield will be Steel Pulse (click to see a video here), Duane Stephenson, Reemah and, of course, the island’s favorite, Inner Visions.

  1. Question: What is up with the great food on St John? Woody’s now serves tilapia. (With a bit of water surrounding St John there are no fish available that are fresh….from our waters??? Or are there fresh waters in the Caribbean that have tilapia?) Morgan’s Mangoe, one of the restaurants we swore by, has tough lobster without taste. Are they now frozen and thawed? Starfish has frozen seafood. We go to St Thomas Food Center once a week to get real, fresh, tasty seafood.
    Just asking!
