Business is looking up, according to a letter sent to clients of Holiday Homes.
According to the brokerage’s co-owner, Christie O’Neil, “four homes and four parcels of land have contracted so far this year and two homes and four parcels have closed.”
Compared to last year during the same three months, O’Neil said, “Only two homes were pended and two homes and nine parcels had closed." However, she added, the prices are a lot different. The average prices and dollar values last year were about twice as high as they are this year.
Incidentally, O’Neil notes Holiday Homes will mark its 50th anniversary on St. John next year.
