  1. Wanted to let you know how much those of us who love STJ appreciate these videos so we can all see familiar businesses , etc.and can see their conditions after the storm… Things are coming along .. Leaves On the trees, power being restored. Can’t wait to set foot back on my favorite spot on earth!

    • Couldn’t agree more William!
Thanks for keeping us posted News of St. John.
Thinking about all of you still on St. John each & every day – praying that with each sunrise, things are getting a little better!!
Hope to be back there in March 2018!

  2. Thanks so much for taking the time to let those of us who love your Island see the progress. Your work is so appreciated. Cannot wait to return.
    xo

  3. My family loves St. John thank you for the all the news, can’t get much of any VI news elsewhere in the states. The damage is extensive but we can also see the work that has been done already.

  4. Thank you for the update. Glad to see places are looking better. I know it will take time to get everything back to the great way it was, but you will get there.

  5. As heartbreaking as it is to see the remaining wreckage, I am gladdened t see people going about their business in all the familiar places. Love to Love City.

  6. Thanks again Jenn. I am amazed how much better Cruz Bay looks after 51 days! Certainly in comparison to your drives from Coral Bay towards East End, and then especially out to Salt Pond, which for me was the most difficult to watch and comprehend the devastation :-(. Hoping and praying for continued recovery and our return to forever beautiful St John.

  7. Thank you so much for keeping us updated! Watching this video was heartbreaking and yet heartwarming, if that makes any sense. St John/Cruz Bay is my favorite place in the world. So it’s heartbreaking that this catastrophe has happened. But heartwarming because you brought me back and I can see for myself that everything will eventually be ok. Keep up the good work and thanks again! ❤️

  8. Thank you for the continued updates! Was wondering how the stores in Mongoise Junction fared and how many are open? Also, is Margarita Phil’s open?

  9. Thank you. Made an overnight trip down three weeks ago, no car, little phone service, so saw very few people. St. JOHN strong, all working hard on recovery. Much improved a testament to all. Long way to go, but efforts apparent.

  10. So happy to see this beautiful island slowly coming back to life. We can’t wait to return to our favorite vacation spot. How does the Westin look?

  11. Hi Jenn,

Thanks again. Great to see flowers in Cruz Bay. Eve and I check your site every day. You are a blessing to St John and give us all hope.

    Eve and Norm

  12. Hey Jenn! Thanx for the video updates.
“Downtown” Cruz Bay looks really beat up…but actually, it’s in remarkably great shape.
As they say in the house renovation biz: “the bones are good”!

  13. So glad to see the island is rebuilding and recouping. Slow but sure. Even the palms and trees are regreening. You can’t keep your island down. God bless and hope to visit soon!

  14. Looking so good…..even as heartbreaking as it is/was. So much hope to see!
Hopefully be there in May, 2018. Saving my $$ to spend there to help any way I can.
Thank you Jenn for keeping us all updated…..love your reports & videos!
