Well folks, it seems to be the week of St. John on television this week because yet another St. John episode appeared on House Hunters International last night.
Last night’s episode featured Kris Robinson and Lindsey Powell of Falls Church, Virginia. The couple was looking to purchase a home to put into the rental market for the next five years. After that, the couple planned on moving into the home full time.
Their wish list? Two bedrooms, two baths, a view, a pool, turnkey, and on the Coral Bay side of the island. They hoped to find all of this with a budget of $850,000.
They visited three homes on the island – one near Concordia, one new construction home closer to the main area of Coral Bay and the third property was Adventure Villa.
Now obviously we don’t want to ruin the surprise, so we’re not going to tell you which they picked. You’re going to have to watch it for yourselves.
One of our favorite parts of watching these shows is seeing who and what gets featured. In last night’s episode, I caught a glimpse of Fly Girl, Rockhoppin’ boat charters, Crabby’s Watersports and Miss Lucy’s … pretty cool! It also featured Denise Obaggy, a realtor with Tropical Properties.
And as we mentioned earlier this week, the folks from HGTV are on island today filming yet another episode. So who knows, maybe one of you will be featured in the next show! We’ll let you know more about that episode once it’s closer to airing. Have a great day everyone!
Nice exposure for the island. I remember seeing an episode that featured 2 guys, from Rhode Island, that started an upscale pet store. I met them while living in St Thomas, 2 years before the episode. Too funny.
